Privacy statement
Last updated: 13 August 2026
Liberation of Facilitation processes personal data of people who visit our website, contact us, subscribe to our newsletter, take the Facilitator Mastery Assessment or take part in one of our programmes. In this statement we explain what data that is, why we process it, how long we keep it and what rights you have.
1. Who we are
Liberation of Facilitation is the controller for the processing of your personal data as described in this statement.
- Liberation of Facilitation
- Amsterdam
- KvK 96163356
- BTW NL005192119B73

We are not required to appoint a data protection officer and have not done so. For any privacy question, you can use the email address above.
2. What we process
2.1 The contact and interest form
If you fill in the form on our website, we process: your name, your email address, your phone number (optional), the role you indicate (facilitator, leader, coach or HR/change/L&D, optional), the number of years of experience you enter (optional), your message, and the page from which you sent the form.
2.2 The newsletter
For the newsletter we only process your email address, plus the page where you signed up. Our newsletter software also records whether an email was delivered, opened and clicked.
2.3 The Facilitator Mastery Assessment
If you take the assessment, we process: your first name (optional), your email address, your answers to the 21 statements, the scores we calculate from them on the three pillars Being, Knowing and Doing and on the nine sub-elements, your answers to the three profile questions, and your answer to the question whether you are interested in one of our programmes.
Your results are stored behind a unique link that cannot be guessed. Anyone who has that link can see the results, so only share it with people you want to give that insight.
2.4 Taking part in a programme
If you become a participant, we also process the data needed to run and invoice the programme: your billing details, the name of your employer or client if they pay, and whatever you share with us during the intro call, the intake, the preparatory assignments and the programme itself.
What you bring in during the programme is treated confidentially. We record no more of it than we need in order to support you well, and we do not share it with your employer, even if they pay the invoice.
2.5 Data collected automatically
Our hosting provider records technical data needed to run and secure the website, such as your IP address, the time of your visit and your browser and device type. If you consent to marketing cookies, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and the Meta Pixel also collect data about your visit. See our cookie statement.
3. Why, and on what legal basis
The GDPR requires a legal basis for every processing activity. These are ours:
| Purpose | What data | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Answering your question and assessing whether a programme fits you | Contact and interest form | Performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering into one |
| Sending the newsletter | Email address | Consent |
| Calculating, showing and keeping your assessment results available via your personal link | Assessment data | Carrying out your request |
| Sending you information about programmes that match your results | Assessment data and email address | Consent |
| Running and facilitating a programme | Participant data | Performance of the contract |
| Invoicing and keeping our administration | Invoice and payment data | Legal obligation |
| Measuring and improving our website and marketing | Data from the LinkedIn and Meta pixels | Consent |
| Securing the website and preventing abuse | Technical log files | Legitimate interest |
Where we rely on a legitimate interest, we have weighed whether your interest outweighs ours. If you believe it does, you can object - see section 7.
4. Cookies
Our website only uses strictly necessary techniques unless you consent to marketing cookies. The LinkedIn Insight Tag and the Meta Pixel are only loaded after you click 'Accept'. If you choose 'Only essential', they stay off. Our cookie statement explains exactly which cookies these are, how long they stay and how to change your choice.
5. Who we share data with
We never sell your data. We do use service providers that process data on our behalf. We have a data processing agreement with each of them.
| Party | Purpose | Processed in |
|---|---|---|
| Lovable | Website hosting | EU / US |
| Supabase | Storage of form submissions, assessment results and blog articles | EU |
| Brevo | Sending and measuring the newsletter | EU (France) |
| Attio | CRM, following up on enquiries and contacts | EU / US |
| Meta Platforms Ireland | Advertising pixel, only with your consent | EU / US |
| LinkedIn Ireland | Insight Tag, only with your consent | EU / US |
| Our accountant | Financial administration | The Netherlands |
In addition, we may share data where we are legally required to do so.
Some of these parties process data (partly) outside the European Economic Area. This takes place on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, supplemented by the safeguards these parties put in place on top of that.
Our calendar is populated from Luma. We fetch that data without any personal data of yours going to Luma. If you register for an event via Luma, Luma's privacy statement applies to that registration.
6. How long we keep it
- Contact and interest forms: two years after our last contact, unless it leads to participation.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. After that we only keep the fact that you unsubscribed, so we do not contact you again.
- Assessment results: three years, so your personal link keeps working. If you want it deleted sooner, we will do so on request.
- Participant files: two years after the programme ends. Anything personal you brought in is deleted earlier if you ask us to.
- Invoices and financial administration: seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it.
- Technical log files: twelve months at most.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- see what personal data we process about you;
- have incorrect data corrected or completed;
- have your data deleted;
- have the processing restricted;
- object to processing based on a legitimate interest;
- receive your data in a common file format, or have it transferred;
- withdraw consent at any time. That does not affect anything we did on the basis of that consent beforehand.
Send your request to privacy@liberationoffacilitation.com. We respond within four weeks. We may ask you to identify yourself, so we can be sure we are providing the data to the right person.
If you disagree with how we handle your data, we would prefer to hear it from you first. You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Traffic to our website is encrypted via HTTPS. Access to the systems holding personal data is limited to the people who need it for their work. Our service providers are selected on their level of security.
If you think something is wrong with the security of our website or of your data, let us know immediately at privacy@liberationoffacilitation.com.
9. Changes
We update this statement when our way of working or our services change. The current version is always on our website, with the date on which it was adopted. In case of significant changes, we will actively let you know.
This is a translation of the Dutch original. In the event of any discrepancy, the Dutch version prevails.
