Liberation of Facilitation was founded by two highly experienced professionals. Beatrijs and Françoise met as colleagues at Aberkyn, where, in an earlier chapter of their careers, they designed and led the training program for new facilitators, also for hundreds of facilitators at client organisations. That background gave them the craft. What they do now, they built themselves. Together they have more than 20,000 flight hours in the facilitator craft itself, guiding executive leaders, (top) teams and transformations worldwide.

They share a deep passion for learning and are complementary in their teaching talent: both started in business, both are fascinated by human potential and the endless possibilities of freeing it. With the arrival of Zeeger Scholten - facilitator, adviser and designer of leadership experiences and communities - they are now expanding the work from a training program into a living ecosystem for in-depth facilitators.

They live this themselves by staying honest, transparent and raw in dialogue with whatever life brings, the beautiful moments and the hard ones. From that lived experience they invite people into their programs - people who are a match for each other and can learn from one another endlessly.

Beatrijs Verploeg

Master facilitator, teacher and entrepreneur

Worked for more than 10 years as a leader in retail and started her own leadership consultancy in 2005. Since then she has guided hundreds of leaders worldwide in building teams that work on extraordinary results from connection, trust and the power of constructive conflict. Trained more than 150 facilitators to support individuals and teams in transformation from personal awareness.

Previously built and led the internal training program for team facilitators at Aberkyn.
Creative designer of learning and development journeys.
Safe challenger: combines calm, honesty and curiosity to bring groups to breakthroughs. Trained in, among others, Systemic Work, Barrett Values, Leadership Circle Profile and Embodied Leadership.

Françoise Gielen

Master facilitator, teacher and leader

In 2004, after a corporate career at KLM, she moved into the world of Organisation & Leadership Development - as leader of leading leadership firms, practitioner and entrepreneur. She has guided hundreds of leaders and countless C-suite teams worldwide on the human side of change. For several years, in an earlier chapter at Aberkyn, she led the facilitator training program.

Previously led the facilitator training program during her leadership role at Aberkyn.
Lead faculty for large-scale leadership and culture programs at major international European organisations.
Combines business acumen with deep insight into consciousness. Trained in, among others, Systemic Work, Coaching, Barrett Values, Leadership Circle Profile, Meditation and Inclusion & Diversity.

Zeeger Scholten

Facilitator, adviser and designer of leadership experiences

Facilitator and designer of leadership experiences. Studied in Delft and London, grew Nomad MBA / Uprise Academy into a global learning program and also supports leadership teams at Fenix Leadership. Has facilitated many teams; combines systemic insight with experience design to connect strategy and human reality.

Associate Partner at Fenix Leadership; supports leadership teams in private equity and venture capital.
Community builder with lots of energy for in-person events and online programs. Trained in, among others, LOF, Theory U, Coaching and Master Systemic Work.
