Cookie statement
Last updated: 13 August 2026
This statement belongs to our privacy statement and describes which cookies and similar techniques our website uses.
1. What we mean by cookies
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. We also use localStorage: a similar technique that lets your browser store data without sending it to the server on every visit. In this statement, both are covered by 'cookies'.
2. Necessary technologies
These are needed to make the site work and to remember your choices. They are always placed and we do not need permission for them.
| Name | Purpose | Retention period |
|---|---|---|
| lof-cookie-consent | Remembers whether you chose 'Accept' or 'Only essential', so we do not ask again on every visit | Until you clear your browser data |
| lof-newsletter-popup-closed | Remembers that you dismissed the newsletter popup, so it does not return | Until you clear your browser data |
| Technical session data | Ensures that pages, forms and language settings work correctly and securely | Duration of your visit |
3. Marketing cookies - only with your consent
We only place these after you click 'Accept'. If you choose 'Only essential', they are not loaded and no contact is made with LinkedIn or Meta.
| Party | Purpose | Retention period |
|---|---|---|
| LinkedIn Insight Tag (partner ID 9426426) | Measuring which ads lead to a visit, and showing ads to people who previously visited our site | Up to about 6 months |
| Meta Pixel (ID 1056592813836443) | Measuring which ads on Facebook and Instagram lead to a visit, and showing ads to people who previously visited our site | Up to about 3 months |
LinkedIn and Meta are joint controllers for this processing. What they do with the data in detail is set out in their own privacy policies.

4. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can withdraw your consent at any time via the 'Cookie settings' link at the bottom of every page. This reopens the banner so you can make a different choice. You can also always delete or block cookies through your browser settings.
If you withdraw your consent, we stop placing marketing cookies. Data collected before that moment can be deleted by you directly with LinkedIn and Meta, through the privacy settings of your account there.
